Okay, so this will
blow your mind!! haha okay it probably won't but I really liked it(:
Many of us go
through periods in our lives when we feel unloved or forgotten or like no one
is there. And sometimes we wonder how we can feel known, loved and important
again. We try fitting in, doing the most popular thing, changing to fit into
the views of the world, we try experimenting with whatever the world tells us
to and yet we still never get that satisfaction. Still we wonder how we can be
loved for who we are.
I was reading in
the For the Strength of Youth last week under the topic repentance and
there was something that really stood out to me. it said, "When you do
what is necessary to repent and receive forgiveness, you will know for yourself
the power of the Atonement and the love God has for you." The moment you
turn to Christ and repent it is then that you will feel that love that
your Father in Heaven has for you. it is then that you will be able to feel
like you are enough. In order for us to repent and to feel of that love to feel
that we are not forgotten is to change. We don't have to commit huge serious
sins to repent. We repent when we change and turn towards Christ. When we say
"not my will but thine be done."
Well Love ya'll
lots! Hope today is the greatest!

MIRACLES!
* We got a media
referral on Thursday named Natasha. She had requested a Book of Mormon and
wanted us to come over the next day, and not only did she want the Book of
Mormon she wanted us to tell her what she needed to do to become a member.
Crazy right?! We went over and she told us that she wants more than anything to
be sealed in the temple. She was raised in Russia and went to our church there
with her family. She was so excited to read the Book of Mormon and to share it
with her husband. Her husband is deployed right now but comes home on Thursday
and she said that he was raised Baptist but they decided together that they
want to become member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That
there is something that just feels right about it. We are oh, so excited to
teach them!! She is incredible!
* Also, Bishop
Wilkes had asked us to go by a couple of new move ins and another miracle came
from that. There was one on the list named Jeanin. We went by her and she said
she had lived in that house for 18+ years and the last time she saw members
from the church was when she was 6. She now has a new baby, going to UTeP, and
is living with her mom and her brother, but her mom is deployed. She told us
that us coming by at that exact moment hat we did was the biggest tender mercy
for her. Sister Huebner asked if we could sing her a song and we sang "I
am a Child of God" She cried and told us that it was the only song from
primary that she remembers. She told us that she wants to start coming back to
church. It was SO INCREDIBLE! I wish you all could have been there to witness
it!!
