First off, Bishop
Hicks is the best and throughout the entire time we talk with him he throws out
quotes like the Moses one. Makes for a good Ward Council. Just in case you were
wondering.
Anyways! This week
I have truly learned the importance of relying fully on my Savior and turning
to Him in all things. Mosiah 7:33 has quickly become one of my favorite
scriptures.
"But if ye
will turn to the Lord with full purpose of heart, and put your trust in
him, and serve him with all diligence of mind, if ye do this, he will,
according to his own will and pleasure deliver you out of bondage."
Itsn't that one of
the most amazing promises? If we give of ourselves fully to Him deliver us. He
will help us overcome our trials and our own personal Goliaths. But that's the
key, we have to give of yourselves 100%. We can't hold anything back.
This week I'm
trying to do just that. Not to hold anything back so that when He needs me I am
ready and willing.

MIRACLE:
Last week we got a
media referral for a girl named Amanda who's Sister had just been baptized. We
quickly texted her and she told us how excited she was to come to church and to
learn what helped her sister be more happy and become a better person. She is
seriously amazing. She came to church and we were so excited! Until we realized
she was YSA and we had to hand her off to the Elders, but hey, whether it's us
teaching her or the Elders she still gets to come closer to our Savior and that
is the best part!(:
FUN FACTS:
1. I have been
able to wear a cardigan TWO days this week and it made me so happy that it was
finally "cold" enough to wear one. Haha
2. Monsoon season
is so weird here. Yesterday it was perfectly sunny and while it was still sunny
it randomly started pouring hard and then 10 minutes later it was done. Haha
everyone kept asking us why we were soaking wet.... haha
