He Cares This Much

I have been rereading the Doctrine and Covenants and I came across a verse that I just loved! It is Doctrine and Covenants 8:4
"Therefore this is thy gift; apply unto it, and blessed art thou, for it shall deliver you out of the hands of your enemies..."
I read that and realized how each of us are given different challenges in life. We are all different and different things are going to stretch us and make us better while other things are going to help someone else become better. But it dawned on me that the gifts and talents that each of us are given are to help us and to help others. Well if we aren't all going to go through the same challenges we all aren't going to be given the same gifts and talents, but the talents and gifts we are given are going to help you overcome temptations. They are given because "the Lord giveth no commandment unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way" (1 Nephi 3:7) The gifts each of us have are to help us with our specific challenges and to left where we stand. To help others around us. Isn't He the best? That all He wants is for us to overcome our trials so that we can have joy in this life and in the life to come and for us to help others have that as well. I love that about our Heavenly Father He truly cares and loves us.

Love ya!

FUN FACTS:
1. When it hits 95 degrees we get excited because it's going to be a "cold day" so we decide to wear cardigans haha #lifeincruces
QUOTE OF THE DAY:

"His time should be soon enough for us since we know He only wants what's best." -Elder Eyring Where is the Pavillion

We found a chalk board nailed to this fence that says "Before I die...." and we happened to have chalk in our car cause that's just us so we wrote on it(: and then wrote on it and told everyone to go to mormon.org (sneaky sneaky we know)

We were going to see a less active and there was a huge "beware of dog" sign. So we banged on the fence and no dog came so we went in and hoped we didn't get eaten. After we knocked on the door this cute ole dog came around the corner and he looked pretty mean, or so Sister Peterson said, haha so she made sure to show him the picture of Jesus in the front of the Book of Mormon so he didn't eat us and then we realized that it was just a cute ole dog that wanted to be pet. So naturally we took a picture with him. (:

Anthony, is one of our investigators and we got this text yesterday and it made our day. "God's workers" (:
